We take your privacy seriously. Expansion processes data in accordance with applicable laws and best practices. We:

•     Do not collect personal information such as names, emails, or addresses.

•     Use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (e.g., device type, browser, time on site) to improve the game.

•     Use Microsoft Clarity to collect anonymous usage data (e.g., heat maps, behavioral metrics, session replay) to improve the game.

•     Use local browser storage (localStorage) via LibGDX Preferences to store your game progress (e.g., streaks, guesses) on your device only.

•     Use licensed resources (Google Fonts, Zapsplat sounds) in compliance with their terms.

We may update this Privacy Policy and Disclaimer at any time by posting a revised version on this site. The date of the latest revision will always be shown at the top of the page. Continued use of the site constitutes your acceptance of any updates.

Our game uses services and files provided by third parties:

•     Google Fonts — fonts are loaded locally via Google Fonts files under their Open Font License (see Google Fonts FAQ, Roboto's license, and Oswald's license).

•     Zapsplat — sound effects are loaded locally and licensed from Zapsplat.com under their Standard License (see Zapsplat License).

•     Microsoft Clarity — We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heat maps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. • expansion is an independent game and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any organization, company, or brand whose acronyms appear in-game. All acronyms and initialisms are used for educational and entertainment purposes.

• All sounds used in Expansion are licensed through Zapsplat.com and are free for personal and commercial use.

• Fonts used in Expansion are licensed through Google Fonts and are free for personal and commercial use.
